Imagine
if you can, endless miles of open farm land dotted with potholes and small
dense patches of woods, and having access to virtually every field within
a few miles of the lodge. Picture in your mind, the sight of Giant
Canadas locked up, Mallards, Pintails, Widgeon, Gadwall and even Teal
falling from the atmosphere. Or maybe the laughter
of Specks as they sneak in on the deck at first light, and endless streams of Snow, Blue and Ross Geese, rising off their
roost, winding their way to a big spread of decoys, perhaps
giving you a “Tornado”.
If you dare to imagine all this you would find yourself
in the Waterfowl Capital of North America, Saskatchewan. |
